Penn is a top destination for summer study, conferences and events, drawing thousands of interns, summer students, and researchers each year.

Spend Your Summer at Penn

Summer housing is available for college students who are enrolled at Penn, taking summer classes, or undergraduate scholars. Hospitality Services offers furnished, air-conditioned housing in private apartments or multi-occupancy suites with private or shared bedrooms.

Housing terms align with summer session dates and are also available for Penn and non-Penn students in research or internship programs.

Key application details

This year’s summer housing will be available between May 23 to August 8, 2026.

  • Registration and Submission

    Begins February 4, 2026. Submissions are on a rolling, first-come, first-serve basis and will close once we have reached max capacity. We require housing applications to be submitted at least 5 business days before your selected move-in date to ensure a smooth check-in process for you.

  • Processing, Payment, & Confirmation

    Please allow 5 business days for your application to be processed. Full payment is required at the time of submission. Look out for a confirmation email from our team.

    For Penn undergraduate and graduate students who are not participating in summer sessions I and II. These Penn students will be completing internships, working, or require summer housing.
